District Benevolence 2012-2013"Every virtue carries with it its own reward, but none in so distinguished and pre-eminent a degree as benevolence." - Unknown District Benevolence Project 2012-2013 Masonic Foundation Project No. 2488 Hamilton Masonic District ‘B’ Benevolence Project 2012-2013 is Autism Ontario – Hamilton Chapter. The difference between Autism Ontario and Autism Ontario – Hamilton Chapter is that monies raised will go directly to Autism programs within our community rather than into a general pool to be divided among Autism agencies in the province. The Goals for this Year’s District Project are as follows: 1. Raising Autism Awareness both for Lodge members in the District and the community in general. 2. Enlisting volunteers from the brethren of Hamilton District ‘B’ to help in supporting the Autism programs and events throughout the year. 3. Raising money to support Autism programs within our community. These programs include library resources, camps, speech and behavioral therapy, How can you assist the District in meeting these objectives? 1. Volunteer at the various Autism programs and events throughout the year. Just a couple of hours of your time would make so much of a difference (See list of events) 2. Donate to the Masonic Foundation - Project No: 2488 (Tax receipts will be issued) 3.
